Checking in...

Life's been crazy the last couple weeks...and its not quite over yet.
Got an "off day" today, and watched two movies in a row...

Rock On - Had heard a lot about it, so had very high expectations, which, well, were not quite met. I don't know...I guess I was expecting more "fun"

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na - This one I totally loved. Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak-Shah were my favorite characters. Followed by Bhaalo bhaiya and Bagheera bhaiya. And I think Jayant Kriplani desperately needs a haircut. And what's with the names "Peachy" and "Pumpkin". No one calls even their kids anything so silly :)

hey nice to see a post from you after a long time...Rock on was good but I guess as you said you expected more...after hearing all the good things about it...it happens
As for peachy and pumpkin - I'm sure there are many Hollywood stars who like to keep "unique' names for their kids like "Apple"! I pity the kids and maybe when they grow up they sue their parents! ;)

I was wondering where did you vanish karke !

I liked both the movies, but I can JNTJN again but not Rock on...but its a gud one none-the-less.

@ankur...tumne to poora review likh diya! Abt Jayant K, I really liked him too, was SO good looking, but that stupid hair in this movie ruined it all for me. As for "proving" himself, he hardly had anything to do...

@crystal, yeah, I rarely go out to the theater for hindi movies, so just rented the dvd yesterday.

@xh, :-)

@scribbler, welcome to my home :) And thanks for the compliments. Glad you had fun :)

@renu, the flower and butterfly have always been there, but some times,for some reason they don't show up :(

Genelia...I don't know, she was ok. And Mere Baap...I didn't like it at all, it was a bit too loud for me. Especially the character of Om Puri was too much to bear.

@Ella, exactly my thoughts. Actually aaj I am feeling like watching Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam again!

@Megha, Yep! Ratna was SO natural and Naseer was totally hilarious :)
