:O

I got a speeding ticket a couple months ago.
I signed up for traffic school
There's an online option. Yayy! I don't have to spend 8 hours in a classroom!
I enrolled
I clicked on the "Start Course" button
First thing I see...

A gal with brown sunglasses in a light blue BMW convertible!

Now that's called really rubbing it in!

Groan!

In India, that speeding ticket would have been delivered to the nearest trash bin and if it goes in in one shot, that would have been like a hole-in-one!!

Basically what I mean is we ignore speeding/parking tickets.

xh, yeah, its like this really painful review of all the laws. They allow traffic school for minor offenses like speeding or not stopping completely at a stop sign or whatever. Traffic school liya to there is nothing saved in your record. If there is something on your record, then insurance goes up and blah blah. Man, the course is painful!

Yeah, main hi to thi photo mein ;-)

@Ria, yeah yeah :)

@Vrij, we can do that, but then there will be a heavy penalty, they will revoke our license and the insurance will go up. I thought of challenging it, which usually works, as the officer who gives the ticket is too busy to show up in court, and the ticket gets dismissed. But then I thought about my loooong post about corruption, and decided ke I WAS speeding, challenging the ticket will be wrong, so I will bear the pain :) Sigh, so much for being honest, the course is a pain!

Ha ha ha you crack me up, a gal with brown sunglasses in a light blue BMW convertible!

Speeding Ticket!!! You must play Need For Speed, best tutorial designed for people like us.

BTW, in India you can drive till you have at least on of your hands ;) I mean if you don't have both hand how will you start the car.

Chirag, what had me upset was that I was wearing brown sunglasses and driving a light blue BMW convertible when I got my ticket! Damn! :D

India mein driving is very very scary. Walking itself is very very scary!

Oh man! let me know how the online class goes... I heard they have 20+ questions that we need to answer and must get more than 80% correct to get credit. Is that true?

I have my very first one ever lined up for me. waaaa! :'(
